The Ramayana is deeply embedded in the heart of every devotee, and is a part of the Indian psyche. Rameshwaram is a town on Pamban island, in the southern state of Tamilnadu. This is where Sri Ram came in his quest for Sita Maa. He made a Parthiv Shivling and worshipped it before building the bridge known as Ram Setu.
