Located 700 meters from the Hospet Bus Stand. Uttradhi Math offers a one-bedroom non-AC room (only for Brahman). You also get other amenities like CCTV cameras, hot water and clean drinking water. All the rooms come with attached restrooms. The check-in and check-out times are 10:00 AM.
Hospet (Hosapete) is a famous historical place situated on the banks of the Tungabhadra River in the Bellary district of Karnataka. The city is believed to have been built by the great King Krishan Deva Raya of Vijayanagara in 1520 AD. The great king had built this city in the honour of his mother, Nagalambika. However, people referred to the city as 'Hosa Pete' meaning 'New City', which was later changed to 'Hospet'. However, a particular area between Hampi and Hospet is called Nagalapura today. Hospet was known for its historical monuments; hence, it was known as the Fort Town of Karnataka.
