Murudeshwar has been a pilgrimage since ancient days and now is also a tourist attraction. The Murudeshwar temple is connected with the story of how Lord Ganesh tricked Ravana into leaving an Atmaling given by Lord Shiva here. The Shivling is now enshrined in the Murudeshwar Temple.
The world’s second-tallest Shiva Statue is a recent addition to the temple complex. The statue took two years to build and is placed in such a way that it sparkles when the sunlight falls on it. One of the tallest gopurams (20 stories) is also a part of the temple.

11. YatraDham.Org and property reserve the right to cancel the booking without prior notice in circumstances beyond control/unforeseen situations/any illegal activities.
