Located at a distance of 500 meters from the Champaran bus stand. Gopal Dharamshala offers two, three, four and six bedded AC and non-AC rooms. Meals are available nearby. Parking facilities for vehicles have been provided here along with hot water and extra mattresses.
Champaran is the birthplace of Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya Ji, Saint of the Bhakti movement and founder of the Pushti sect of Vaishnavism. Champaran was formerly known as Champajhar. A tributary of the Mahanadi river flows here and it is considered as sacred as the Yamuna river.
Two temples here are dedicated to Mahaprabhu Vallabhacharya. Besides these, there are several other temples including Champeshwar Mahadev.

According to government regulations, a valid Photo ID has to be carried by every person above the age of 18. Unmarried couples are strictly not allowed.
