Accommodation Information

Located at a distance of 500 meters from the Bus Stand. Yatri Niwas Tourist Center offers two-bedded AC and non-AC rooms, as well as four and eight-bedded rooms. Meals are available here, as is parking space for vehicles.

The check-in and check-out time is 12:00 PM. All the rooms come with attached restrooms. They also have other facilities like CCTV cameras, hot water, clean drinking water and extra mattresses which makes it an ideal option for a stay in Katra.

Katra is the starting point for the 12 km Vaishno Devi trek. It is situated in the Reasi district and at the foothills of the Trikuta Range of mountains. At an altitude of about 2400 feet above sea level, the Banganga River flows through the town.
