Located 1.5 km from the Rameshwaram bus stand, Gurudwara Bhavan offers three and four bedded basic rooms. This is a good place for groups which provides many facilities like CCTV cameras, hot water and hot water at a budget price.
Hearing of a Gurudwara in Rameshwaram may come as a surprise to some people. The fact is that Guru Nanak, the first and most revered Guru of Sikhs stayed here for 19 days in 1511. He was on a journey to Sri Lanka and boarded a ship for Jaffna from here. He was in Lanka for over two years.
His followers later built a Gurudwara here, which fell into disrepair with the passage of time. It was given a new lease of life by S.S. Barnala when he was the governor of Tamilnadu.

Guests residing in the same city are not allowed.

3. Dharmshala / Bhavan / Ashram / Sanatorium management has also the right of refusal of entry if the booking is in violation of their rules. No refund would be applicable in case they deny check-in under such circumstances.
4. The standard check-in time and check-out time is mentioned on the page. Please make your reservation accordingly as early check-in or late check-out might not be possible.
5. Please note that almost all the rooms/halls have a certain capacity for the guests/room, it is mentioned on the page. This limit is strictly followed.
