Garhmukteshwar is an ancient pilgrimage. It was originally known as Shiv Vallabhpur. The Garhmukteshwar Shiva Temple has great religious significance and is said to be the bestower of ‘Moksha’. Meerabai Ki Reti and Ganga Temple are also temples of note here.
