Gabbar Parikrama Path
Shri Arasuri Ambaji Mata Devasthan Trust has developed a parikrama way around the Gabbar hill.
The 51 Shaktipeeth temples are constructed on this Parikrama marg.
The temples are made as same as they are at their original locations. One can darshan all 51 Shakti Peeth by doing Parikrama of Gabbar hill
The temple opens for Darshan of Ambe Maa Yantra every morning and remains open for a few hours.
However, the exact timings depend on any particular Annakut day according to the holy calendar.

Abu Railway Station
Ambaji does not have a train station, and the nearest station is Mount Abu, at a distance of 22 km. Taxis and other vehicles are available and take almost 26 mins.
Palanpur Railway Station Distance between Palanpur to Ambaji is 71 km by Road.
The convenient and fastest way to reach from Palanpur to Ambaji is to take a taxi from Palanpur to Ambaji.
The cheapest way to reach Ambaji from Palanpur is to take Ashram Express from Palanpur to Abu Road.
There is a bus-station of Gujarat State Transport (GSRTC) connecting to all major cities of India Ambaji.
It can be reached through Himatnagar road which is connected with National Highway No.8 (Mumbai to Delhi).
The other road which Passes through Palanpur and Danta and connects with State Highway SH 56 to reach Ambaji.

Gabbar Temple, Ambaji
The Hill of Gabbar has a small temple fortified from the western side.
Gabbar temple is a place where the heart of the dead Devi Sati fell as per the legend narrated in the “Tantra Chudamani”.
A Holy Lamp is constantly burning on this hill temple facing exactly in front of Visa Shree Yantra of Nij Mandir of Mata Shri Arasuri Ambica.
There are many more beautiful sightseeing Places on Gabbar together with a sunset point, Cave and Swings of Mataji and Trips through a ropeway.
About 4.5 km Gabbar hill is situated on the border of Gujarat and Rajasthan.
It is near the flow of the river Sarasvati and on the hills of Arasur in the forest. Gabbar temple is towards the south-west side to the ancient hills of Aravali. It is at an altitude of about 480 meters, having at 8.33 sq km area as a whole.
How to reach from Ambaji?
There are 999 steps to go up to holy temple at the top of Gabbar Hill. It is a pleasure to use well-developed staircase. There are plenty of animals and birds in the forest over this arid hillock.
There’s a ropeway facility. The cable car charges are nominal and on busy days has huge queues to ride up.
The tickets are sold at the venue as well as at a kiosk, on the way to the base station from Ambaji. It is advisable to buy tickets at the Kiosk, because of shorter queue
You can visit the temple at any time throughout the day.
Places to visit near Ambaji
Mansarovar is behind the main temple. It is said to have been constructed by Shri Tapishanker, a Nager Devotee of Ambaji from Ahmedabad.
There are two temples on two sides of this holy tank, one is of Mahadev and another is Ajay Devi.
The visitors and devotees use to take holy bath in this Mansarovar.
It is also an important source of history of Ambaji . There is an Ancient Monument of Scripts Writings and Old Carvings on Rock Stone “Shilalekh”.
Mount Abu town, the only hill station in Rajasthan.
The Mount Abu Wildlife Sanctuary was established in 1960 .
The mountain is home to several Hindu temples and Jain temples.
Abu is located in Aravalli Range in Sirohi district of Rajasthan state, near the border with Gujarat.
How to reach Abu from Ambaji?
There are no direct flights or trains or buses between Ambaji to Mt Abu.
The convenient, fastest and cheapest way to reach from Ambaji to Mt Abu is to take a taxi from Ambaji to Mt Abu.
One kilometer away from Ambaji near Kumbharia Jain Temple on Khedbrahma Highway, there is the Kamakshi Devi Temple Complex.
All 51 Shakti Pith are reconstructed and installed in a single complex to give total information to the devotees of the great Shakti Sampraday .

Just 8 km away from Ambaji near the Origin of River Saraswati,
This is an ancient temple of Shri Koteshwar Mahadev.
It is attached with a Holy Kund and the flows of river Saraswati from the Mouth of Cow Gaumukh, incurved in a rock.
As per a legend there was an Ashram of Rishi Valmiki.
This Place is beautiful & peaceful in the forest.
